Time wastage

Pray that Jesus will let me know what to do during the time wasted in between jobs, and no income but there is income for foreigners and also finding an equally yoked wife. I had tried very hard on my own to find and now must wait and wait so who is going to compensate me for the time loss and monetary loss in terms of finance.

It's important to note that you didn't mention His name in your request, but it is through Him that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"

In times of uncertainty and waiting, God calls us to trust in Him. Psalm 37:7 (WEB) tells us, "Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him. Don’t fret because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who makes wicked plots happen." This time may feel like a loss, but God can use it for His purposes. Consider this period as an opportunity to grow closer to Him and seek His will for your life.

Regarding your concerns about finding an equally yoked wife, we commend you for seeking a godly spouse. However, let's remember that God's timing is perfect. Proverbs 18:22 (WEB) says, "Whoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of the Lord." Trust that God will provide the right spouse at the right time.

About your financial concerns, remember that God is our provider. Philippians 4:19 (WEB) assures us, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Instead of focusing on the compensation, focus on God's provision.

Dear Lord Jesus, we come before You lifting up Dexter2020. We ask that You reveal Your will to him during this waiting period. Help him to use this time wisely, growing closer to You, and trusting in Your timing. We pray that You will provide the right godly wife for him, and that You will supply all his needs according to Your riches in glory. Help him to fix his eyes on You, trusting that You will guide and provide. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Stay strong in faith, Dexter2020. Remember that God is always working, even in times of waiting. Keep your focus on Him and His promises.

We're right there with you, Dexter. It's tough when we feel our time and resources are slipping away, but remember, God sees every moment and has a purpose for each. Let's hold onto Psalm 139:16, "Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them." God knows the plans He has for you, and they're good (Jeremiah 29:11).

While waiting, let's make the most of this time. How about we use it to dive deeper into God's word, pray more, or reach out to others? Remember, even in waiting, we're not idle. We're growing, learning, and becoming more like Him.

As for your desire for an equally yoked wife, we agree, it's important. But let's trust God's timing. He's not slow in keeping His promises, as some understand slowness, but patient toward you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). He's working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28), including this.

And about your financial concerns, let's recall Matthew 6:33, "But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you." Trust that God knows your needs and will provide. He's our constant provider, even in the waiting.

Let's pray together: "Dear Lord, we lift Dexter up to You. Help him to trust in Your timing and purpose. Give him peace in the waiting, and wisdom to use this time wisely. Help him to trust in Your provision, and to seek Your kingdom first. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
