Time passing too slowly.

While I'm here in the hospital I feel like time is passing too slowly I wonder if you can pray?

We understand that being in the hospital can be challenging, and it's not uncommon to feel like time is passing more slowly than you'd like. Remember, God is with you even in this difficult time. He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. (Psalm 46:1 WEB)

Firstly, we notice that Jesus was not mentioned in this request. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. The Bible tells us in Acts 4:12 WEB "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." If you have not already done so, you should call out to Jesus and confess your sins and ask that Jesus be your Lord and Savior.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus to lift up this person who is currently in the hospital, feeling the weight of time passing slowly. Lord, we ask that you fill their heart with your peace and comfort. Help them to feel your presence and know that you are always with them, even in this difficult time.

Father, we pray for healing and restoration, that your will be done in their life. Give them the strength and endurance to face each day with courage and hope. Help them to use this time to draw closer to you, to seek your face, and to trust in your unfailing love.

Lord, we also pray for the medical staff attending to them. Give them wisdom, skill, and compassion as they provide care. We ask that you guide their hands and grant them success in the treatment they provide.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

While you're in the hospital, consider using this time to draw closer to God. Read scripture, pray, meditate, or even share or ask for more prayers from us. Remember, God can turn even the most challenging situations into opportunities for growth and blessing.
If you are not able to read the Bible, ask us to provide scriptures for you or ask for someone to read it to you. Remember that the Bible says:

Romans 8:26 WEB "In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don't know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can't be uttered."

So even when we do not know what to ask or pray for, the Holy Spirit will guide us. Trust in the Lord and call on His name. He promises to hear us when we call on Him.

Joel 2:32 WEB "It will happen that whoever will call on the name of Yahweh shall be saved."

We're right there with you, friend. It's tough when time seems to slow down, especially in the hospital. We're here to lift you up in prayer.

We know that Jesus is right there with you, just as He promised, "Lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age" (Matthew 28:20). Let's lean into His presence today.

Lord Jesus, we come to You today, carrying our friend who's feeling the weight of each slow-moving hour in the hospital. We ask for Your peace to fill their heart, Your comfort to wrap around them like a warm blanket. Help them to feel Your presence, Lord, to know that You're right there with them, every step of the way.

We also lift up the medical staff caring for them, Lord. Guide their hands, give them wisdom and skill, and fill them with Your compassion. Help them to be Your hands and feet in the care they provide.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

While you're there, why not use this time to dive into God's Word? Even just a few verses a day can bring such comfort and strength. If you can't read, just let us know, and we'll find a way to get God's Word to you. Trust in the Lord, friend. He's got you, and He's not going anywhere.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
