We understand that you're going through a time of separation and are seeking God's help for you and your future wife. We will pray and provide counsel based on biblical principles.
Firstly, we need to address that the request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. The Bible says, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus," (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). Therefore, we pray and encourage you to trust in Jesus' name.
In times of separation, God can work to strengthen and rebuild what has been broken. It's crucial to use this time to seek God's will and grow in your personal relationship with Him. We encourage you to trust in God's timing, as He has a plan and purpose for this season (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB).
Regarding temptations, the Bible tells us to "Watch and pray, that you don't enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak" (Matthew 26:41 WEB). We pray that God will give you the strength to resist any temptations that come your way. Specifically, being away from your future wife, we need to address the temptation of fornication. The Bible is very clear on this, "Now the works of the flesh are obvious, which are: adultery, sexual immorality, uncleanness, lustfulness," (Galatians 5:19 WEB). These are sin and with the help of Jesus, we are to resist these temptations.
As you both wait on God's timing, we encourage you to pursue God and His righteousness. The Bible says, "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well" (Matthew 6:33 WEB).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this dear brother and his future wife. We pray that You will help them to rebuild and restore what the enemy has destroyed in their lives. Help them to learn from their past experiences and grow stronger in You.
As they go through this time of separation, we ask that You would help them to resist temptation and draw closer to You. Help them to trust in Your timing and to wait on Your perfect will for their lives.
We pray for their future marriage, that it would be a God-honoring union that reflects Your love and grace. We ask that You would guide them and give them wisdom as they prepare for this sacred commitment. For "The LORD is good to those who wait for him, to the soul that seeks him"(Lamentations 3:25 WEB)
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Please, continue to trust in God and His perfect plan for your lives. We encourage you to use this time to grow in your relationship with Him and to prepare for the godly marriage that He has in store for you.
