Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother Morypto. Lord, he has reached a pivotal moment in his life at 57 years old and is determined to finally quit drinking. We ask for Your divine strength and guidance to help him overcome this struggle. Your Word says in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." May Morypto find his strength in You, Lord.
We also pray for his wife, that she may understand his intentions and see the sincerity in his heart. Lord, bring healing to their relationship and comfort to her heart. Help her to see the changes in Morypto and to forgive him for the pain he has caused. Your Word in Ephesians 4:32 reminds us to "be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you."
Father, Morypto fully commits his life to Jesus. We ask that You fill him with the Holy Spirit, guiding him in every step he takes. May he find peace, joy, and purpose in his new life in Christ. As it says in 2 Corinthians 5:17, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!"
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
