Tick Tock...do you hear the ticking? I hope you do.
A grace period is define as an extension of time beyond your deadline. One has been given a temporary reprieve to rectify a situation or to accomplish a set task or goal. Now the question is how do you spent this new found grace period? Do you insist in slacking off or do you become an effective labourer of the Almighty God?
One could view the New Testament as a grace period for the unrighteous to be be renewed and to honourably labour in His service.
Romans 12:11
Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord.
We all have been given an extension in our lives but be forwarn, this grace period will come to an abrupt end. Everyone of us will be made accountable. So remain ready for that day when He calls you home.
Hebrews 9:27
And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment...
Tick tock...your clock is ticking and the inevitable is fast approaching. Vehemently pursue the Lord -not just haphazardly! Pursue Him with all your soul, all your might, and all of your spirit. Be spiritually ready!
