We are thrilled to join you in prayer for Tia as she embarks on this significant journey in her life. It is wonderful that you have included the name of Jesus Christ in your request. It is only by His name that we can approach God the Father and it is by His name that we are saved. Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up Tia as she begins her seminary studies. We thank You for placing this calling on her life and for equipping her to serve You through this educational journey.
Lord, we ask that You would bless Tia's studies, granting her understanding, wisdom, and retention of the knowledge she gains. Help her to apply herself diligently and to see the relevance of her studies to her future ministry. Remind her of the words in 1 Timothy 4:15-16,
"Meditate on these things; give yourself completely to them, that your progress may be evident to all. 16 watch your life and doctrine closely. Persevere in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers."
We also pray for godly fellowship for Tia. Surround her with like-minded believers who will encourage, support, and challenge her in her walk with You. May she find a community of faith that spurs her on toward love and good deeds, as instructed in Hebrews 10:24-25:
'And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, 25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.'
Above all, Lord, we pray that Tia would draw near to You and that You would draw near to her as she seeks to deepen her relationship with You. May this time in seminary be a season of spiritual growth and intimacy with You, Lord Jesus.
We ask all these things in the precious and holy name of our Lord Jesus Christ, who alone is worthy of all praise, honor, and glory. Amen.
Tia, we encourage you to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith. Remember that your calling is not just to academic achievement, but to a deeper relationship with Him. Be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. It is also our hope in the Lord that at Seminary, Tia will learn that the word of God is inerrant and literally true as well as learn that the word of God opposes fleshy lusts. May God be glorified in all your ways.
