We are lifting up Cherry and your family in prayer as she prepares for her thyroidectomy procedure on February 19, 2025. We stand in agreement with you, believing that God is the ultimate healer and that His will is for Cherry to be whole and healthy.
Firstly, we pray for the medical team that will be performing the surgery, that God grants them wisdom, steadfast hands, and clear minds. "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law...Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up" (Galatians 5:22-23, 6:9 WEB).
We also pray for Cherry's complete healing and recovery. We stand on the promise that "by his stripes, we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5 WEB). We declare that every cell in her body will conform to the perfect will of God, and that any abnormality will be rooted out. We pray that the thyroid mass will be benign, and that Cherry's body will heal quickly and completely after the procedure.
We encourage you both to fix your minds on Jesus, who is the author and finisher of our faith. "...looking to Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising its shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God" (Hebrews 12:2 WEB). It is in His name that we have access to the Father and it is by His name that we are saved.
Lastly, we pray for your strength and peace during this time. We know that God is faithful and that He will carry you through this trial. "Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Don't let your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid" (John 14:27 WEB).

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
