We understand that you're feeling unwell and concerned about the spiritual atmosphere in your home. First, let's address the issue of cursed or bewitched items. In the WEB The Apostle Paul says in Ephesians 6:11, "We wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities, and powers of darkness" and we are told in Deuteronomy 7:25-26, "You shall burn the engraved images of their gods with fire. You shall not covet the silver or the gold that is on them, nor take it for yourselves, lest you be snared in it; for it is an abomination to Yahweh your God. You shall not bring an abomination into your house, lest you become a devoted thing when you do so. You shall utterly detest it, and you shall utterly abhor it; for it is a devoted thing." and in Joshua 7:11-12, "Israel has sinned, and they have also transgressed my covenant which I commanded them. Yes, they have even taken of the devoted things, and have also stolen, and also deceived; and they have put it among their own stuff. Therefore the children of Israel can't stand before their enemies. They turn their backs before their enemies, because they have become devoted for destruction. I will not be with you any more, unless you destroy the devoted things from among you."
So it is important to remove any items that may have been used in pagan or occult practices, or that could be tied to evil spirits. Regarding second-hand clothes and jewelry, there's no biblical basis to believe that these items are inherently evil, but if they were used in sinful practices, it's possible that they could retain spiritual ties. In Acts 19:19 we see people gathered their items connected to evil practice and burned them, "Many of those who practiced magical arts brought their books together and burned them in the sight of all. They counted their price, and found it to be fifty thousand pieces of silver."
However, we must also consider that your feelings of sickness, tiredness, and depression may not be solely due to spiritual warfare. In Proverbs 17:22, we're reminded that "a cheerful heart is a good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones." and in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Don’t be wise in your own eyes. Fear Yahweh, and depart from evil."
Let's pray for discernment, healing, and peace:
**Prayer:**
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our ### who is feeling unwell and oppressed. We ask, Lord, that You open their spiritual eyes and ears to discern any ungodly influences in their home. If there are items tainted by evil practices, please reveal them so they can be removed.
We also pray for physical healing, that You may touch their body and restore their strength. Cast out any spirit of depression and fill them with Your joy and peace. Guide them to Your truth and wisdom regarding their situation.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, God cares for you greatly. Keep praying and studying His word. If needed, seek support from fellow believers or a pastor. Don't hesitate to consult a healthcare professional regarding your physical and mental health. Stay strong and connected to the community of believers as we see in Acts 2:42, "They continued steadfastly in the apostles’ teaching and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and prayer."
