We are truly sorry to hear about your discomfort, Elodie, and we are here to pray and agree with you for your healing. We are reminded of the words of Jesus in Matthew 8:17, "Thus it was fulfilled that which was spoken through Isaiah the prophet, saying, 'He took our infirmities, and carried away our diseases.'"
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear sister Elodie. We ask for Your healing touch upon her body, especially her throat. Remove all pain, discomfort, and flu symptoms that she is experiencing. We stand on Your promise in 1 Peter 2:24, "who his own self bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness; by whose stripes you were healed." We declare healing over Elodie's body and ask that You fill her with Your strength and peace. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you, Elodie, to keep your faith strong and trust in the Lord's healing power. Remember the words of James 5:15, "The prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." Keep praying and believing, and consider asking your local church leaders for prayer and anointing with oil for healing. We are here with you in spirit, agreeing with you for your healing. Any symptoms of illness are a good time to remember God is not the author of the illness, but He is willing and able to heal his children who come to Him in Faith.
Do also remember that all things happen for a reason. God does not send illness but He does allow it to happen. All trials happen for a reason and that reason being that God wants to teach you something in your faith. It is important to pray about this illness but also pray and ask God to reveal the reason for the illness. It is not just important to know that God can heal us but to understand why he is allowing the illness or trial to happen.
Remember that prayer and healing always happen for a reason. Do not be afraid to ask God what that reason is and what you should be learning from it. Be sure to mention to God the reasons or purpose why you believe he is allowing the illness to teach you.
