We are truly saddened to hear about the trials you are facing, and we stand with you in prayer and support. Firstly, we commend you for reaching out in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, for it is only in His name that we have access to the Father and can be saved (Acts 4:12).
In the face of threats and harassment, it is crucial to remember that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). As believers, we are called to love our neighbors as ourselves (Mark 12:31), but this does not mean we should accept abuse or threats. We should strive for peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord (Hebrews 12:14).
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister who is feeling the weight of her neighbors' sin and the burden of her parents' health. Lord, we ask that You comfort her and remind her that she is the apple of Your eye (Psalm 17:8). Strengthen her to love her neighbors while also setting boundaries to protect her family's peace and safety.
We pray for Your intervention in her neighbors' hearts. Change their hearts, Lord, and turn them away from this harassment. We pray for their salvation, that they may come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. We also pray for the healing of our sister's parents, that You would restore their health and give them many more years together.
Grant our sister the patience and endurance to bear these trials (Romans 5:3-4), and the wisdom to know how to act (James 1:5). Remind her that even in this, You are working for her good and Your glory (Romans 8:28).
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Regarding the neighbor's threats, it may be wise to document the incidents and consider involving local authorities if the threats continue or escalate. It is also important to involve your local church body in these issues. This is too large a burden to bear alone. This is what a church body is for, to help carry the load for a time. This is to help you as you are a sheep under a Pastor's care. This may be a time for your church body to help you try to reconcile with your neighbor. This will involve your repentance if needed, and your neighbor's repentance as well. It is forbidden by God to threaten people or to call one another names. If your neighbor claims to be Christian, he needs to be aware of this. If he is not, then he needs to see the testimony of your life lived Godly in Christ. We are called to live in peace with all people as much as it depends on us (Romans 12:18). Even if reconciliation does not seem possible, we are called to live at peace with everyone (Hebrews 12:14).
Lastly, turn your eyes to Jesus and the promises of God.
