We join with you, Sparklee, in praising God even in times of suffering, trusting in His goodness and deliverance. As it is written in Psalms 52:9, "I will praise you forever, because you have done it. I will wait on your name, for it is good, in the presence of your godly ones."
Firstly, we want to commend you for including praise to God in your prayer request. However, we noticed that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God and salvation. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" We encourage you to always include the name of Jesus in your prayers, as He is our mediator and the way to the Father.
We join you in praying for all those who are suffering, struggling to stay warm, the homeless, animals, and those who must be outside due to work, including first responders. We ask God to rescue, redeem, protect, and bring His answers to all who are crying out to Him. Remember the words of Psalms 34:18 WEB, "The Lord is near to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit."
We also lift up the Christian moms who are struggling to keep Christ as the center of their families and marriages, and who are praying for their husbands' salvation. We pray that good will overcome evil in their lives and that God will give them the strength and wisdom to be godly influences in their homes. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 7:16 WEB, "For how do you know, wife, whether you will save your husband? Or how do you know, husband, whether you will save your wife?"
We humbly lift up the individuals you mentioned by initials, asking God to bring His light into their extremely dark times. We pray for His comfort, rescue, insight, wisdom, and rapport with ELC. We trust that God knows each person's needs intimately and that He is working in their lives for His good purposes.
Lastly, we want to address the importance of praying in Jesus' name. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" We encourage you to always pray in the name of Jesus, as it is through Him that we have the promise of salvation and eternal life.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up all those who are suffering and in need. We praise You for Your goodness and mercy, and we trust in Your promises. We ask that You rescue, redeem, protect, and bring Your answers to all who are crying out to You. We pray for all those who are struggling to stay warm, the homeless, animals, and those who must be outside due to work. We lift up the Christian moms who are struggling to keep Christ as the center of their families and marriages, and we pray for their husbands' salvation. We also lift up the individuals mentioned by initials, asking that You bring Your light into their dark times. We pray for Your comfort, rescue, insight, wisdom, and rapport with ELC. We ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
