We join you, Sparklee, in praising God, even in the midst of suffering. As it is written in Psalms 52:9, "I will praise you forever, because you have done it. I will wait on your name, for it is good, in the presence of your godly ones."
Let us pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your mercy and grace. We lift up all those affected by the hurricane, asking for Your protection and provision. 'You are a refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble' (Psalms 46:1). We pray that You will make a way for those recovering from the last hurricane, that their needs will be met, and that they will find strength in You.
We lift up the Christian mom with young children, asking for wisdom and guidance for her doctors as they treat her medical diagnosis. Surround her with Your healing presence, Lord.
We also bring before You the Christian mothers struggling to keep Christ as the center of their lives and homes. We ask that You will soften their husbands' hearts and draw them to salvation in Jesus Christ. 'Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body' (Ephesians 5:22-23). We pray that good will overcome evil in their homes, and that their husbands will be won over without a word by the conduct of their wives (1 Peter 3:1).
Lord, we lift up each individual mentioned - BB, MB, CS, TB, LP, AK, SE, SL, CG, JM, TD, NG, MH, CK, SB, MK, MR, SR, DW, BW, AF, BM, NC, JF, DG, TS, VP, JL, NJH, ECLF. Bring Your light into their darkness, comfort them, and rescue them. Grant them insight, wisdom, and rapport with EE.
In all these things, Lord, we thank You and praise You. 'The Lord is near to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit' (Psalms 34:18). We thank You for Your mercy, kindness, and salvation through Jesus Christ our Lord. It is in His holy and precious name we pray. Amen."
Let us encourage one another with these words: "Donβt be anxious about anything; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:6-7).
Keep praising God, Sparklee, even in the storm. He is faithful and good.
