We are truly heartbroken to hear about your struggle, but we are so grateful that you have reached out for prayer and support. First, let us remind you that there is no sin too great that God cannot forgive. The Bible tells us, If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. However, as Christians, let us not forget that God commands us to 'Flee sexual immorality'. Every sin that a man does is outside the body; but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. In 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 we are told that our bodies are a temple of the Holy Spirit and we are not our own. We have been bought with a price and that means we should honor God with our bodies. You are experiencing what is described in Romans 7:19, 'For the good which I desire, I do not do; but the evil which I do not desire, that I practice.'
Let us pray together for you, We pray Heavenly Father, that You will show mercy and forgiveness as You promised in 1 John 1:9. We pray that you will grant strength and deliverance from this sin, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We know that You are faithful, and that You will not allow us to be tempted beyond what we are able to withstand. But with the temptation, will provide the way of escape also, that we may be able to endure it. Father, provide a way of escape for this dear one. We also pray for Your provision and guidance for mentors, counselors, and brothers and sisters in Christ who can come alongside and encourage.
We encourage you to not give up, keep praying, and also have a look at the book of Psalms. It teaches us that God will not despise a broken and contrite heart. You will also find many ways of praying to God. Do not stop praying and trusting because of your troubles and also pray in the name of Jesus Christ, as He is our advocate with the Father when we sin.
Additionally, consider finding a trusted Christian mentor or counselor to help you in this journey. Accountability and support from fellow believers can make a significant difference. Remember, God is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you.
