Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus on behalf of Dupeford, who desires to grow in their thinking and behavior. Lord, we ask that you grant Dupeford the wisdom and understanding to think deeper and not shallowly, like a child. Your Word reminds us in 1 Corinthians 13:11, "When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I gave up childish ways." Help Dupeford to mature in their thoughts and perspectives.
Lord, we pray that Dupeford may be able to dress up nicely and present themselves in a way that reflects their inner beauty. May they find joy in taking care of themselves and presenting themselves in a manner that brings honor to you. Your Word tells us in 1 Samuel 16:7, "But the Lord said to Samuel, 'Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.'" Help Dupeford to focus on cultivating a beautiful heart that radiates through their actions and character.
Lord, we ask for guidance in Dupeford's conversations. May they engage in meaningful and uplifting discussions that edify others and bring glory to your name. Your Word encourages us in Colossians 4:6, "Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer each person." Grant Dupeford the ability to speak with kindness, wisdom, and grace.
Father, we pray for Dupeford's decision-making abilities. Help them to make wise and discerning choices in all areas of their life. Your Word assures us in James 1:5, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him." May Dupeford seek your guidance and rely on your wisdom as they navigate through life's decisions.
Lastly, Lord, we ask that you bless Dupeford with a strong work ethic and a desire to excel in their endeavors. May they find fulfillment in their work and use their talents and abilities to bring glory to you. Your Word reminds us in Colossians 3:23-24, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ." Help Dupeford to approach their work with diligence and integrity.
We thank you, Lord, for hearing our prayer and for your faithfulness to answer. May Dupeford experience growth and transformation in their thinking, behavior, and overall life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
