We understand your distress, ###, and we stand with you in prayer and seeking God's will in this situation.
Firstly, we commend you for bringing this matter to God, as He is the ultimate judge and the one who can restore justice. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 6:30-31 (WEB), "People don’t despise a thief if he steals to satisfy himself when he is hungry; but if he is found, he shall restore seven times; he shall give all the wealth of his house." This verse highlights the seriousness of theft and the importance of restitution.
However, we must remember that vengeance is not ours to take, but God's. As it is written in Romans 12:19 (WEB), "Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'" Therefore, we pray that this person is brought to justice not out of revenge, but out of a desire for righteousness and restoration.
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ to bring this injustice to Your attention. We know that nothing is hidden from Your sight and that You are a God of justice. We ask that You would reveal the truth in this situation and bring the person responsible to repentance and restoration. We pray that ###'s loss would be restored sevenfold, as Your Word promises. Help us to forgive, as You have forgiven us, and to trust in Your perfect justice. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Lastly, we encourage you, ###, to continue trusting in God and His timing. He sees your situation and He cares for you. As it says in Psalm 37:7-8 (WEB), "Rest in Yahweh, and wait patiently for him.
