We understand that you're facing a challenging situation with these offices, and we want to encourage you to trust in God's sovereignty and justice.
Firstly, we want to rebuke the attitude of calling for vengeance or defeat of those who wrong us. We are called to love our enemies and do good to them that harm us (Matthew 5:44). We are called to be like our father in heaven who makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust (Matthew 5:45). However, it is good to pray for God's to act on the situation and bring good from it.
When we face unjust treatment, we can remember the words of the Apostle Peter: "For this is commendable, if because of conscience toward God, someone endures grief, suffering unjustly. For what glory is it if, when you sin, you patiently endure beating? But if, when you do well, you patiently endure suffering, this is commendable with God. We are also encouraged by Peter to "submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts," Remember, it is better to suffer for doing good, if that is God's will, than for doing evil. (1 Peter 4:19 WEB).
Remember the words of Jesus, "Blessed are those who have been persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven. Blessed are you when people reproach you, persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven. For that is how they persecuted the prophets who were before you (Matthew 5:10-12 WEB).
We pray for those who have been rude and abusive to you.
Dear Lord, we lift up these office workers to You, knowing that You desire for all to come to repentance and saving grace. Convict their hearts, Lord, and bring them to a saving faith in Jesus Christ. Help them to treat others with kindness, respect, and patience, as they would want to be treated. We also pray for this dear soul who is experiencing this difficulty, that You would provide a way, that You would ease the difficulty of contact, and that You would bring resolution and justice to this situation. Please bring Your conviction upon them, Your will for them, and Your saving grace. May the grace of Jesus Christ shine on them as Your will is done. We ask this in Jesus' name.
Lastly, we gently remind you that it is only by the name Jesus Christ that we can come before the throne of grace, and that by faith in Jesus Christ that we are saved. We also want to remind you that all Christians are called to endure and suffer well for the cause of Christ, and to live lives that are pleasing to Him.
