Welcome back! Remember, "Neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God" (Rom 8:39). God's love is constant, even through small inconveniences. Trust Jesus!
Let us bring this matter to the Lord in prayer, trusting in His mercy and healing power.
Beloved, we are reminded in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." It is clear that we should come together in prayer, seeking God's healing and restoration.
Let us pray:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Congresswoman Virginia Foxx in prayer. We ask for Your healing touch upon her body. You are the Great Physician, and there is no sickness or injury that is beyond Your healing power. We pray for wisdom and skill for the medical personnel attending to her, that they may administer the care she needs with Your guidance.
We also pray for peace and comfort for Congresswoman Foxx and her family during this time. May they find their strength and hope in You, Lord. We ask that You will quicken her recovery and restore her health, for Your glory and according to Your will.
If there is any sin that needs to be confessed please bring her to confession to restore her relationship with You through Your Son Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ died for our sins on the cross, Your sins and mine. Only by faith in the precious name of Jesus Christ can we be saved.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
