We are with you in spirit, lifting up your husband's health and strength before the Lord. Firstly, we would like to discuss COPD. It stands for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, is a chronic inflammatory lung disease that causes obstructed airflow from the lungs. Symptoms include breathing difficulty, cough, mucus (sputum) production and wheezing. It is typically caused by long-term exposure to irritating gases or particulate matter, most often from cigarette smoke. People with COPD are at increased risk of developing heart disease, lung cancer and a variety of other conditions.

Emphasizing the importance of healthy living and avoiding smoking is crucial. The body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, and we are called to honor God with our bodies. "Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's." 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 WEB

Let us pray together.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother who is battling COPD. We pray for Your healing touch upon his throat and lungs. Give him the strength to endure and overcome. We rebuke the spirit of infirmity and command his body to function normally, in the name of Jesus.

Lord, we also pray for his emotional and spiritual strength. Comfort him in his distress and help him to fix his eyes on You, the author and perfecter of his faith.

In Jesus' name, we believe and stand in faith for his health and strength to be fully restored.

We also pray for his wife, that You will fill her with Your peace and strength as she cares for her husband. Guide her steps and give her the wisdom to make the right decisions. Help her to be a source of encouragement and support to her husband. "Let the husband render to the wife the affection owed her, and likewise also the wife to the husband." 1 Corinthians 7:3 WEB

In Jesus' name, we pray for a miracle of healing.

Father we also pray for the marriage of this couple who are one flesh and inseparable in Jesus Christ.

Finally, we pray for his doctors and healthcare providers. Guide their hands and give them the wisdom to provide the best care for our brother.

In Jesus' name, we pray for the doctors to have knowledge, wisdom, and compassion in treating our brother.

We stand in faith, believing that our brother will regain his strength and health, for the glory of God.

Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
