STAY WOKE
While there is nothing wrong with wealth and status, it should not come at the expense of your fellow countrymen, certainly not at the lives of the elderly. That's some "straight up" Judas, on steroids, type stuff. The devil is a liar; he sets before those, whom he thinks are weak-minded, illusions of prosperity, offering things that don't even belong to him, so long as you fall down and worship him. But, when you refuse to worship him, he sets out to destroy you. The Bible tells us to do all things as though we're doing it unto God. Would you deliberately seek to harm God, as Judas did Jesus? You should protect your elders. Don't allow yourselves to be misused as pandemic hitmen. IS THAT LOVE?
Throw the devil's promise of shekels back in his face.
Indeed, you must stay woke, but more than being woke, God desires that you would receive your sight. Though Bartimaeus was awake, aware of his surroundings; yet was he blind to the truth. God gives clarity far beyond 2020 vision, that you may, not only see the writing on the wall; but, like Daniel, that you may have the strength and giftedness to correctly interpret it.
The future, not only belongs to you, it also belongs to your children, your children's children . . .
Again, I warn, where there is unwillingness among leaders to submit to God's authority, instead operating in the injustice of division, oppression, suppression, and the like; God avows:
Isaiah 22: 19 "Yes, I will drive you out of office, "says the LORD. "I will pull you down from your high position."
Be God's "Driving Force" vessels to escort them out of office.
It has been a tough year, for sure; but don't sell your future short, this current situation is temporal; you deserve better. Cheer up! He's calling you [Luke 18: 35-42].
