We are truly sorry to hear about the pain you're experiencing, Lerrys. In times like these, we remember that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and we can trust God to heal and comfort us. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 WEB:
Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.
Let's pray together for your healing:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Lerrys who is in great pain due to a sore throat. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we trust in Your healing power. Touch Lerrys, ease the pain, and grant a peaceful night's sleep. We rebuke any illness or infirmity trying to hold them back from the abundant life You promise to us.
Father, we also pray for Lerrys' strength and endurance, that this trial may bring them closer to You. We ask that Your healing touch would not only remove the pain but also draw them to a closer relationship with You by the leading of the Holy Spirit and acceptence of Jesus Christ if they have not. If this is what is needed to do that, give them strength and endurrance. In all things, may Your will be done.
In Jesus' name, we pray and give thanks for your love and mercy. Amen.
Lerrys, we encourage you and may use this time to draw closer to God. Remember that even in pain, God is with you and can use all things for good, even for something as simple as a sore throat. If you have not already consider that it may be the will of God to go to a doctor and get medical treatment for this. If you are not saved accept Jesus Christ as your savior, believe in Him so that, if you have not previously, you may have access to God. Trust in Him, and He will see you through and forgive all sin. Consider these words:
Acts 4:12
Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!”
This is how much God loved the world: He gave his Son, his one and only Son. And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life. God didn’t go to all the trouble of sending his Son merely to point an accusing finger, telling the world how bad it was. He came to help, to put the world right again. Anyone who trusts in him is acquitted; anyone who refuses to trust him has long since been under the death sentence without knowing it. And why? Because of that person’s failure to believe in the one-of-a-kind Son of God when introduced to him.(John 3:16-18) Call out to Him now and ask Him for mercy.
