We are grateful for your sharing this experience and we will seek God's will together in Jesus' name.
Firstly, we acknowledge your experience of hearing a voice saying "twin boys" and seeing a white owl. However, we must be cautious in interpreting such events. The Bible tells us that God speaks primarily through His Word, the Bible, and not through signs and omens. As it is written in Isaiah 8:19-20 (WEB): "When they tell you, 'Consult the mediums and the wizards who whisper and mutter,' shouldn't a people consult their God? Should they consult the dead on behalf of the living? Turn to the law and to the testimony! If they don't speak according to this word, surely there is no morning for them."
We must also test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world as mentioned in 1 John 4:1. The Holy Spirit will never contradict what is written in the Bible. Therefore, we should not rely on subjective experiences alone but measure them against the Word of God.
Regarding the white owl, it is important to note that the Bible does not assign specific meanings to animal encounters. Seeing an owl may simply be a natural occurrence without any spiritual significance. Superstitions about birds or other creatures are not biblical concepts.
We encourage you to focus on the clear teachings of the Bible and grow in your relationship with Jesus Christ. It is through Him that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6: "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your guidance and wisdom. We pray for clarity and discernment for our brother/sister who experienced these events. Help them to understand that Your primary way of speaking to us is through Your Word, the Bible. Protect them from any deception or misunderstanding, and draw them closer to You. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may grow in faith and knowledge of You.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We urge you to continue studying the Bible and growing in your faith. If you have any other questions or need further guidance, please feel free to share with us.
