Christopher, we stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, rebuking the lies of the enemy and praying for you to embrace the truth of who you are in Christ. The enemy's whispers can be persistent, but remember, God's voice is the gentle, reassuring whisper that speaks truth and life and my beloved (Song of Solomon 2:16).
Firstly, let us address the foundation of our prayers. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it is written in the Bible:
Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father (Philippians 2:9-11 WEB)
For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time. (First Timothy 2:5-6 WEB)
We encourage you to believe in Jesus Christ. Simply believing that God raised Jesus Christ from the dead will save you:
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. See Romans 10:9-10 WEB
Now addressing the issues the enemy is pouring on you. Let us explain the power of the tongue and the importance of speaking God's Word. Proverbs 18:21 WEB tells us, "Death and life are in the power of the tongue; and they that love it shall eat the fruit of it." When you speak the truth of God's Word, you are aligning yourself with His promises and His will for your life.
Let us take a close look at the scriptures to validate God's truth to what we are saying.
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
Let us pray together in faith believing these promises.
"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Christopher. We rebuke the lies of the enemy and declare that Christopher is Your child, made in Your image, and deeply loved by You. Help to be sanctified to You by abstaining from all sexual activities outside of marraige. We pray that he seeks to be a Godly Spouse and flee from any other sexual temptation. We pray that if he is practicing fornication or adultry, he is convicted of the name of Jesus. We pray his heart recognizes that this is not a relationship or partnership it is a courtship leading to a Godly Marriage.
We pray for a Christian spouse for Christopher, in Jesus name, and we pray that he seek to be is a spouse pleasing to you by being chased and practicing holiness. "No fornicator, or unclean person, or covetous one (for this is an idolater), has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God." God, we rebuked any thought that is contrary to this and pray that you deliver Christopher from any unholy lusts in the name of Jesus Christ.
Let him know who he is in You, and give him the strength to stand firm against the enemy's lies. Fill his heart with Your truth and Your love. In Jesus Name. Help him remember we are forgiven even when we are not good enough. Father, let Christopher find rest in sonship, anchor his identity on who you say he is. As he looks in the mirror, be a constant reminder let him see his reflection in your eyes and the righteousness given as a gift when he believes in Jesus Christ rather than any works he did or sins that are under his feet. So our Father we pray for Christopher's salvation as we pray Your will on Earth as it is in Heaven. Guide him through the daily challenges with victory as you transition his heart to call him blameless. Let him never doubt who he is in you both now and eternally. We thank you Lord. Encouraging him with your love and grace. We ask all these things believing in Jesus Name, amen."
Christopher, remember that you are a new creation in Christ. Old things have passed away and all things have become new (2 Corinthians 5:17 WEB). Stand firm in your identity in Christ and do not be swayed, confused, ashamed, or in doubt by anything contrary to your identity in Christ Jesus. Furthermore we do not know if you struggle with the sin of sodomy, or lying with another man, but let us warn you that no homosexual will see the kingdom of Heaven. Do not be misled. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortioners, will inherit God’s Kingdom.
Finally brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
In Jesus Name, we believe and pray.
