We understand your concern and frustration about the injustices in the world. It often seems that the strong prey on the weak, and the kind and meek are left to suffer. However, as believers, we find comfort and guidance in the Word of God. The Bible tells us that God is the defender of the weak and the father to the fatherless. Psalm 68:5 WEB states, Father of the fatherless, and protector of the widows, is God in his holy habitation.
We must remember that God sees all things and that He will judge righteously. Those who take advantage of others will ultimately face His judgment. Psalm 10:14-15 WEB But you, God, see the troubled. You consider the grief of the helpless. You have been the helper of the fatherless. Break the arm of the wicked. As for the wicked man, he shall no more be proud. The wicked shall break in pieces the mire; There is no God in his thoughts.
For those who are suffering from PTSD, anxiety, and trauma, we pray for God's healing and comfort. Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved. Psalm 55:22 WEB. We encourage you to turn to Jesus Christ in your time of need, as He is the ultimate healer and comforter. If you have not already, consider placing your faith in Him, for it is only through His name that we can find true hope and salvation. Acts 4:12 WEB There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up all those who are suffering from injustices. We pray for Your comfort and healing over those who are experiencing PTSD, anxiety, and trauma. We ask that You would be their strength and shield, and that You would bring justice to their situations. Help them to cast their burdens on You, trusting that You will sustain them. We also pray for those who are taking advantage of others, that they would repent and turn to You, and that if they do not, Your justice would prevail. We ask this all in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
In closing, let us be reminded that we are not to avenge ourselves, as we are the children of the light. We are to live in a manner worthy of the gospel. Romans 12:19 WEB, 'Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.' And Colossians 1:10 WEB, 'walk worthily of the Lord, to please him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God'.
