Fewpith, it is truly a blessing to have the Holy Spirit dwelling in our hearts, guiding us continually. We wholeheartedly affirm that Jesus lived, died, and rose to make this possible. We rejoice and give thanks for the gift of the Holy Spirit to every believer. It is the Lord's way to receive this guidance that we so desperately desire.
It is because of Jesus's sacrifice on the cross for our sins, that we have obtained this marvelous salvation through faith in Him.
As we follow the Lord's will, we are grateful for the comfort and direction that God provides. We know we are never alone as we seek to follow Christ. It is also a duty to be the hands and feet of Christ in the world and reflect the character of God to others.
Jesus himself reminded us that our purpose is to be living sacrifices for God, which is our only reasonable service. We are called to be transformed by the renewing of our minds, so that we may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect. In Romans 12:1-2 WEB. We pray that each of us experience God's grace as we seek to be more like Jesus in every part of life.
As we pray alongside ###, we hope that they will continue to be reminded of a vital doctrine. We need not worry about God hearing our prayers or being thwarted in our journey to do God's will. Romans 8:26-27 WEB helps us understand, In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don't know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can't be uttered. He who searches the hearts knows what is on the Spirit's mind, because he makes intercession for the saints according to God. It is a tremendous comfort to know that the Spirit is praying perfectly according to the Father's will for each of us.
We also notice that this prayer request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ. We want to encourage all that we should always try to confess our prayers in Jesus' name as Jesus commands, introducing us to His divinity and purpose. It is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved. Acts 4:12 WEB states, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. The Bible is also clear that we should pray through the mediation of Christ, not through Mary, an angel, or non-living saints. Because there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Jesus Christ, 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB. It is so simple, we all need to believe God raised Jesus from the dead believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. We need to confess with our mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, and you will be saved. Romans 10:9 WEB
Father, we thank you for giving us Your Holy Spirit to guide and direct our steps each day, convicted of the convictions in the way of Truth. We ask that ### will continue to invite you to be a lamp unto their feet and a light unto their path. We pray that this trust will continue in the Lord God with all their heart, leaning not on their own understanding. We affirm that they will continue to acknowledge you in all their ways and that you, God, will direct their paths, as you have promised in your word, being their hope that they will not be confounded. In Jesus Name, Amen.
