Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging Jesus in your request. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name that we are saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
In times of need, it is important to remember that God cares for us and that we can trust in Him. As it is written in 1 Peter 5:7 WEB: "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." We encourage you to continue to cast your worries on Him and trust in His provision.
Regarding government assistance, it is important to remember that God has established authorities to provide for those in need. In Romans 13:1-2 WEB: "Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God. Therefore he who resists the authority withstands the ordinance of God; and those who withstand will receive to themselves judgment."
However, we must also remember that God expects us to be good stewards of the blessings He provides and to use them in a way that honors Him. This includes our time, talents, and resources. As it is written in 2 Thessalonians 3:10-12 WEB: "For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: 'If anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat.' For we hear of any who walk disorderly among you, not working at all, but being busybodies. Now those who are that way, we command and exhort in the Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work and eat their own bread."
We encourage you to seek God's wisdom in this matter and to trust that He will provide for your needs in a way that honors Him. We pray that He will guide you in your decision-making process and that He will restore your health so that you may serve Him fully.
Lord, we lift up our dear sister/brother to You and ask that You would be with them in this time of need. We pray that Your healing hand would be upon them and that You would restore their health so that they may serve You fully. We ask that You would guide them in their decision-making process and that You would provide for their needs according to Your will. We trust in Your goodness and Your provision, and we ask these things in the precious name of Jesus. Amen.

Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
