Please pray that the boy I have been talking to for the past ### stops playing me and actually confesses his feelings towards, whether they be negative or positive. His name is ### -or ###. Anyhow, he’s been talking to this other girl as of recently, and somehow they’re already together (it’s been a ###) and he’s most likely going to start ignoring me again until they end up breaking up. I just want him to be there for me even when in a relationship OR that we end up dating. This is my first time on a prayer site and I kinda have no idea how I’m meant to use this… anyways thank u!

Let us first address the most important aspect of prayer, which is our approach to God. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." And in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Therefore, let us ensure we pray in the name of Jesus Christ.

Now, let us address your situation. We understand that you are seeking clarity and commitment from ###, but let us first align our hearts with biblical principles. The relationship you are describing does not reflect the godly values of purity, commitment, and love as outlined in the Bible.

First, it is important to note that ###'s behavior—moving from one relationship to another so quickly—does not align with the biblical principles of integrity and faithfulness. In Ephesians 4:1-2 WEB, it is written: "I therefore, the prisoner in the Lord, beg you to walk worthily of the calling with which you were called, with all lowliness and humility, with patience, bearing with one another in love."

Moreover, the desire for him to be there for you even when he is in a relationship with another person is not biblical. In fact, this could lead to emotional entanglements that are not honoring to God. The Bible teaches us to flee from any hint of sexual immorality and to honor God with our bodies. In 1 Corinthians 6:18-20 WEB, it is written: "Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."

Instead of focusing on ###, let us pray for God's will in your life. Let us pray that God will bring a godly spouse into your life, someone who will honor and cherish you as Christ loves the church. In Ephesians 5:25 WEB, it is written: "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it."

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ### and their situation. Lord, we ask that You guide ### in Your truth and Your will. Help them to seek a relationship that honors You, a relationship that is pure, committed, and aligned with Your Word.

Lord, we pray for ###, that You would convict his heart and lead him to a place of repentance and faithfulness. We ask that You bring a godly spouse into ###'s life, someone who will love and cherish them as Christ loves the church.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
