The only way to rise above your circumstances is to look up!

"So flee youthful passions and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart."
2 Timothy 2:22 ESV

Life has a way of teaching us lessons through unsuspecting, unwelcomed, and unconventional methods. Sometimes we don’t even know that class is in session. What we do know is that nothing seems to be working, getting better or panning out. During times like these, the only way to rise above circumstances such as these is to look up!

"
I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
2 My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.
3 He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.
4 Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.
5 The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand.
6 The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.
7 The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.
8 The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore." Psalm 121 KJV

My Jesus, I love Thee, I know Thou art mine. I shall ever thank Thee for being close to us when we call Your name. He can hear the whisper of your heart and never can hide from Him anything. He is so real and so near to those who love Him with all their heart, mind and soul.

And then you meet the person who makes you forget the past and what you did or did not do, then let you know that the future is yet to come with blessings upon blessings. Jesus is at the end of our rope and when everything is all over, He will take us by the hand and will let us in the house He has prepared for us.
