The neighbour opposite who is mostly not here has reappeared tonight with a friend who left. I had a pleasant chat in the first floor hallway where our two flat doors are - fairly isolated. He acted perfectly normal but behind closed doors it's like another person emerges. The banging and raging starts and swearing ("f*** you!") and it sounds like he is talking to someone. It's very scary. I don't know how long he will be here. I wouldn't like to meet him in the hallway when he is like that - I don't feel safe around him. I wish he would move or that I could find somewhere else to live. I have shared the gospel with him via tracts I've left in the postbox and gave him one of Amir Tsarfati's books with a gospel message at the end - don't know if he read it. Please pray for his repentance, salvation and deliverance from evil. He is getting elderly and is not very well. I don't know if he realises how much the neighbours can hear but his rants and crashing around are very scary. After a bad night last night, I need to go to bed and sleep but don't feel very settled at the moment. I'm playing praise music at the moment and hope it will change the atmosphere around here. Heavenly Father, we come to You in Jesus Name asking for Your protection and peace for Irwethen and their neighbor opposite. We ask that You would give Irwethen wisdom and discernment in this situation, and that You would grant them peace and safety. We pray that You would bring a sense of calm and order to the neighbor's home, and that You would protect Irwethen from any harm or danger. UPDATE - NEXT DAY - FRIDAY
All has been quiet. I met my neighbour in the hallway twice and he was pleasant. I saw how frail he is. It came to me that he might have dementia as "melt-downs", rage and frustration can be symptoms. He says he is not well. It may be he is not coping at all well. His name is Christopher. His partner (who lives elsewhere) is in hospital. I eventually got to sleep last night although I felt fearful at the time. Today I have peace and the building is calm. Taking it day by day as this is ongoing and continuing to pray, also for the other neighbour below as the woman there sounds distressed. The mental and emotional issues of both neighbours are disturbing when they manifest. At those times I need peace and to be able to sleep and they all need the Lord. Thank you for standing with me.
