We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you're facing, and we want you to know that God sees your pain and heartache. While we understand your desire to have this person back in your life, it's crucial to align our desires with God's will and His principles.
Firstly, let us remember Jesus is the only way to salvation that includes any happiness in this life. It is only by the name of Jesus that we can approach God because not even good people go to heaven. In Acts 4:12 WEB it says, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. No one will get into heaven without being saved."
It's also important to remember that God's plan for you may not be what is perceived to be what we want. As it is said in Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB, For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, says Yahweh. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts."
If this person is God's will for your life and your spouse, then trust that He can restore this relationship in His timing. However, it's essential to examine your relationship and ensure it aligns with biblical principles. Sex before or out of marriage is sinful as Hebrews 13:4 WEB says, Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled: but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers. If you are being sexually immoral and God has asked you to stop and turn from your sinful lifestyle that will not change without Him. If the person you are trying to get back has married someone else, then to still seek this person is to seek adultery. If this relationship was outside Gods design then returning to that sin brings constant tragedy to this life. As it says Matthew 5:4
The Bible tells us that those who trust in the Lord will never be put to shame. Psalm 25:3 WEB says, Yes, let none who wait for you be disappointed. They will be disappointed who deal treacherously without cause. We pray that you find your hope and joy in Jesus Christ and not in any person or thing of this world.
Let's pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up Anonymous in their time of need. We pray that You will comfort them and remind them of Your unfailing love. Lord, if it is Your will, restore this relationship and make it a God-honoring union that reflects Your love and purity. But if it is not Gods plan for their lives, bed your will done and let your way be chosen over your plans that I cause more tragedy and loss in this life. Help Anonymous to trust in You, to seek You first, and to find their joy and purpose in You alone. Thank you that You save us from sin when we believe in Jesus now and will deliver us in the future from every tragedy. Lord we pray they be saved too.
Pray for wisdom for Anonymous, that would be sensitive to Jesus judgment in every area of their lives. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
