We are truly sorry to hear about the kidnapping of your fiancé. This is a deeply distressing situation, and our hearts go out to you. We will stand with you in prayer and seek God's intervention in this difficult time.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear, even though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea. Psalm 46:1-2 WEB.
We also want to encourage you to trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB.
We must also remind you that it is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to God. And in no one else is there salvation, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 WEB.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today, lifting up our brother in Christ who is going through a tremendously painful time. His fiancé has been kidnapped, and he is desperate for her safe return. Lord, we ask that you comfort him, guide him, and provide him with the strength he needs to endure this trial.
Father, we ask that you be with his fiancé right now and also give her the strength to endure what she is also going through. Protect her from harm, and bring her back safely to her loved ones. Give wisdom and discernment to those investigating the case, that they may find her and bring the perpetrators to justice.
We know Lord, that your word tells us to be strong and courageous, for you shall be with us. Wherever we go, you shall not fail nor forsake us. And because we know this, your people should not be afraid, nor should they be dismayed as we go to help and be a help to our brother in this time of trouble. And that you shall go with us and will never leave us nor forsake us.
We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Lastly, we want to remind you to surround yourself with a community of believers who can support and pray with you during this time. Do not lose hope, and continue to trust in the Lord. He is faithful, and He is good.
