THE LAMB OF GOD - WHO TAKES AWAY THE SINS OF THE WORLD
The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!†John 1:29
Do you know Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord of your life on this Lord’s Day? Do you have a daily personal relationship with the Lord? Does your husband/wife know Jesus as Savior and Lord of their life? Do your children know Jesus as Savior of their lives? How many loved ones know Jesus personally in your family? May this be the day that you cry out to the Lord Jesus to go and touch your lost loved ones in your family to ask Jesus Christ to become Savior and Lord of their lives forever.
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son.†John 3:16-18
Do you personally have the assurance of your salvation? Are you or your spouse battling with guilt and condemnation? We know of standers and spouses who have returned home who are dealing with this problem. The guilt, condemnation and shame they are feeling are not from the Lord, but from the enemy, Satan. There are believers who often fear that they do not have eternal life. Could that be where you are today? Do past sins of your life still torment you? Do you know that your sins are washed away forever?
How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God! Hebrews 9:14
I pray that you will know for certain today that Jesus Christ is your Savior and Lord of your life and you will receive His eternal life. Please click here go to our special page for more information. Walk in faith and assurance of your salvation by knowing the Word of God and its promises.
Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off—for all whom the Lord our God will call.†Acts 2:38-39
That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,†and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. As the Scripture says, “Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame.†For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile--the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.†Romans 10:9-13
You can personalize this scripture below as a prayer for yourself, for your spouse, and all prodigals this Lord’s Day:
Let us draw near to God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled to cleanse us from a guilty conscience and having our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. Hebrews 10:22-23
You can pray this prayer for yourself or for your husband or wife and personalize it with their name in it.
Lord, I need You. I have made a mess of my life. Lord, I want You to become Savior and Lord of my life. Lord, forgive me of all my sins. Lord, thank You that You have removed all of my sins from my life by You shedding Your Blood on the cross. Thank You that my sins are gone forever in the deepest of seas. Lord, I now surrender my life to Your will and way. Lord, You know all my problems in my life. May You touch and change my circumstances as only You can do. Lord, deliver me from any strongholds in my life, remove any anger, unforgiveness, jealousy and hatred from my life. Remove any and all kinds of impurities, idols or addictions that are in my life that I battle with daily. Lord, make me into a new creature in Christ walking in faith, love, peace and joy in my Lord Jesus Christ daily. Lord, may I become a lighthouse for Your Kingdom. Lord, now I pray for my husband/wife and children to come to know You personally as Savior and Lord of their lives. Lord, may I walk in victory with You daily. Lord, heal and restore my marriage to be as You created it to be as nothing is too hard for You to do. I pray this all in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, my Lord. Amen.
Who can discern his errors? Forgive my hidden faults. Keep your servant also from willful sins; may they not rule over me. Then will I be blameless, innocent of great transgression. May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer. Psalm 19:12-14
Never think that your spouse has sinned too long or too many times for your Lord Jesus Christ to touch, transform, and change their heart and He can deliver them from any of the bondages of sins in their life.
Let us pray that the Holy Spirit will convict thousands of men, women and children this Lord's Day to repent and turn from their sinful lifestyles, turning to Jesus Christ as Savior of their lives. Always remember to pray for God’s divine anointing on all the men of God and Bible teachers who are sharing God’s Word with millions of people around the world today. Pray that the Holy Spirit will convict all sinners today to confess, repent and turn from their sins and sinful nature forever.
Jesus Christ can make the difference in your life and in your family's life, if only we will pray and wait for God's day of salvation. In the meantime, you need to continue to grow in the Lord. Don't become depressed or oppressed, go to church every week. Do a Bible study to continue to deepen your walk with the Lord. Praise and thank your Lord every day as you wait for the healing and restoration of your marriage.
They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.†Acts 16:31
