We are grateful for your prayer request, Jennifer, and we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for your life. We are reminded of the words of the Psalmist in Psalm 51:12, "Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and uphold me with a willing spirit."
Jennifer, it is wonderful that you acknowledged that this prayer should be in Jesus' name. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. In fact, there is no other name by which we can be saved.
Acts 4:12 WEB Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.
First, we address the oppression you are feeling. We are not told what is causing this oppression. It could be from any source, including a physical problem, financial problem, relationship problem, or even a demonic source. We must pray and rebuke this oppression in Jesus' name.
First, it would be wise to examine your life and heart. Ephesians 4:26-27 WEB tells us, Be angry, and don’t sin. Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath, neither give place to the devil.
Next, pray and rebuke this oppressive feeling. Isaiah 54:14 WEB tells us, In righteousness you shall be established: you shall be far from oppression, for you shall not be afraid; and from terror, for it shall not come near you.
Finally, you have asked for prayer for joy, peace, contentment, and joy in every circumstance. James 1:2-4 WEB reminds us, Count it all joy, my brothers, when you fall into various temptations, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. Let endurance have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.
We pray for all of that in agreement with you.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up Jennifer. Lord, we rebuke this feeling of oppression in Jennifer's life, and we ask You to restore the joy of her salvation. We ask You to be near to her in her feelings, and we plead the blood of Christ over her heart. Fill her with Your peace that passes all understanding, Your contentment in every circumstance, and Your ever-present joy. Help her to trust You more in every area of her life.
We ask for your Holy Spirit to guide her in examining her life and her heart to make sure that she has not left any doors open for oppression.
In Jesus name.
We encourage you, Jennifer, to continue to seek God's face and trust in His goodness. Remember that He is always with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. Be strong and courageous.
Joshua 1:9 WEB Haven’t I commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Don’t be afraid. Don’t be dismayed, for Yahweh your God is with you wherever you go.
Stand on His promises, and know that He has a plan and a purpose for your life. Continue to praise Him and give Him thanks, even in the midst of difficult circumstances, for He is worthy to be praised.
