We understand the deep pain and sorrow you are feeling, Breldur, as a result of the strained relationship between you and your adult son. Let us come together in prayer and seek God's guidance and healing for this difficult situation.
Firstly, we would like to remind you of the power of forgiveness and love, as instructed in the scriptures. In Matthew 5:44 (WEB), Jesus tells us, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you." This includes both your son and his biological father. Bitterness and resentment will only cause more harm, but love and forgiveness can open pathways to healing and restoration.
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Breldur and her son to You. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in their relationship. Please soften the heart of Breldur's son, removing any hatred and bitterness that has been placed there by his biological father or any other influences. Help him to see the love and care that his mother has for him, and let that love break down the walls that have been built up between them.
Father, we also pray for the biological father. We ask that You would convict his heart and lead him to repentance for the wrongs he has done. Help him to see the harm his actions have caused and to seek forgiveness and restoration.
We ask that You would comfort Breldur in her sorrow, Lord. Surround her with Your loving presence and give her the strength and courage to continue to love and pray for her son, despite the pain she feels. Help her to trust in You and to rest in the knowledge that You are working all things together for good, according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28, WEB).
Finally, Lord, we ask that You would heal and restore the relationship between Breldur and her son. Help them to build a healthy, loving relationship that honors You and brings glory to Your name.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Breldur, continue to trust in God and to seek Him in this difficult time. Remember the words of Jeremiah 29:11 (WEB), "For I know the plans that I have for you,' says Yahweh, 'plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.'" God has a plan and a purpose for you and your son, and He is faithful to see it through.
