Imagine selecting your favourite song on one of your CDs but when you go to play it, you hear a horrendous hissing noise.

There was a gentleman with such sensitive hearing that he was employed in the cd quality control department. I'm not sure exactly what his position was called but he would spend most of his working time listening to defects on cds - white and hissing noises. After a while, he had become so proficient at his trade that he inadvertently and subconsciously brought his talent home to his cd collection. His once source of relaxation had now been corrupted by white noise and hisses. He had programmed himself to hear the bad only - 'the hiss before the music'. How sad! He successfully managed to bury the beautiful collection of songs and replaced it with noise.

Some Christians are so programmed in just seeing the bad that they don't see the good that God has gracefully given. They have abandoned being grateful.
Gratitude is one of the most important virtues to have as Christians but most often ignored. It has been misconstrued by some as being non-genuine enthusiasm, simple mindedness, or even new world thinking. Nothing can be further from the truth. Being grateful requires strength to see pass our very own egos.

"The struggle ends when gratitude begins."
- Neale Donald Walsh

Gratitude can transform your day for the best. It is gratitude that leads to happiness and not happiness to gratitude.
Unfortunately Christians have robbed themselves of their own joy by only seeing the bad - the hiss before the music.

Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
1 Corinthians 5:18

And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
Colossians 3:17

Unlock the power of gratitude in your life and bury the proverbial 'hiss'.
Now listen to His music. There's plenty to be thankful for. Thank Him now and start erasing the old and corrupt program.

Thank You Father!

Sometimes satan tries so hard for us not to hear, or sing praises to Jesus and he sends all kinds of hiss and interruptions along our path. I experienced personally when trying to listen a local Christian Radio Station and all kinds of hisses comes along and interruptions of all sorts. The devil trying my faith and trying to make me miss my way to heaven by stearing my way to hear wordly music and violence and Metallicah, music coming straight from hell to make me feel ashamed of myself, full of depression and fear. Hell is a real place and satan want us all in there so he is trying so hard for us not to sing praises to Jesus nor believe He is the Savior and Lord of all of us.

Always listen heavenly music because it comes from the heart of the Lord. Sing to Him praises to His name. O Lord, You are beautiful, Your face is all I seek... and when Your eyes are on this child Your grace abounds to me. Yes, the Lord is so wonderful to those who seek His face and honors His name through a song.
