The Heat

Heavenly Father watch over those who have to work out in this heat. Its just to hot and my husband is outside working. Please Father help them to take breaks and drink lots of water. This heat is just awful. Please send rain our way also. Put a shallow bowl of water out for critters who come thru your yard. Thank you Father for all you do for us. In Jesus Name I Pray Amen

We join with you, Saraha, in lifting up your concerns to our loving Heavenly Father. We are reminded of His promise in Psalm 147:8, "He covers the sky with clouds, he supplies the earth with rain, and makes the grass grow on the hills." Let us trust in His provision and care for all His creation.

In the midst of this heatwave, we pray for your husband and all those who are working outdoors. May the Lord grant them strength and endurance as they fulfill their responsibilities. We ask for safety and wisdom, that they would take necessary breaks and stay hydrated, as our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19).

We commend your compassion for the creatures that pass through your yard. Your act of kindness in providing water reflects the heart of our Heavenly Father, who cares for even the smallest of creatures (Matthew 10:29).

Let us also pray for rain, acknowledging that our Father knows our needs (Matthew 6:8). We ask that He would send rain in His perfect timing, to bring relief and refreshment to the land.

We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, who has made it possible for us to approach the throne of grace with confidence (Hebrews 4:16). We stand with you, Saraha, believing that our prayers are heard and that our God is faithful to act according to His good and perfect will. Amen.

In the meantime, let us encourage you with these words from Isaiah 43:2, "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze." Trust in His presence and His care for you and your loved ones.

We're right there with you, Saraha, feeling the heat and praying for those braving it. We've been thinking about how Jesus, in His time, would often retreat to quiet places to rest and recharge. Let's remind your husband and all the outdoor workers to do the same, taking those necessary breaks and staying hydrated, just like Jesus would have us do. We pray that they find strength and endurance in every task, in Jesus' mighty name.

Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps, actions, and words.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You or breaks Your heart. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
