The Heat

Heavenly Father watch over those who have to work out in this heat. Its just to hot and my husband is outside working. Please Father help them to take breaks and drink lots of water. This heat is just awful. Please send rain our way also. Put a shallow bowl of water out for critters who come thru your yard. Thank you Father for all you do for us. In Jesus Name I Pray Amen

We join you, Saraha, in lifting up your concerns to our loving Heavenly Father. We are reminded of Psalm 121:5-6, which says, "Yahweh is your keeper. Yahweh is your shade on your right hand. The sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night."

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in Jesus' name, seeking Your mercy and protection. We ask that You watch over our loved ones, especially Saraha's husband, who is working outside in this intense heat. We pray for safety and strength for him and all those laboring in these harsh conditions. Remind them to take breaks and stay hydrated, Lord, as their bodies are Your temple (1 Corinthians 6:19).

Father, we also ask for rain to bring relief from the heat. You are the one who sends the rain, and we trust in Your timing and wisdom (Matthew 5:45). We pray for Your creation, too, that You would provide water for all the creatures that need it.

Thank You, Lord, for Your unfailing love and care for us. We praise You for all You do.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Saraha, it's wonderful that you acknowledge the power of praying in Jesus' name. As Jesus Himself tells us, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it" (John 14:13-14, WEB). Keep trusting in Him, and encourage your husband to do the same.

Stay strong in the Lord, and may His peace and comfort be with you and your family. In times of worry, remember to "Cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you" (1 Peter 5:7, WEB).
