The enemy is attacking my home

I've recently tried to end my own life and then about a month later, I found out my daughter has been cutting herself and wanting to die. She did not know about my attempt...this has to be pure evil. I need prayers over my home and the people in it PLEASE.

We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you and your daughter are facing. Firstly, we want to address the spiritual warfare you're experiencing. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came to give us life, and life more abundantly.

The fact that both you and your daughter have experienced suicidal thoughts and actions is not merely coincidental, but a targeted attack from the enemy. We must put on the whole armor of God.

Ephesians 6:11-12 WEB: Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.

Suicidal thoughts are not from God, but are intrusive thoughts from the enemy to destroy you and your daughter. It's important to remember that God has a plan for both of you and your daughter.

Jeremiah 29:11 WEB: For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.

We also want to address the importance of praying in the name of Jesus. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we can be saved.

John 14:6 WEB: Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, interceding on behalf of this family under spiritual attack. We plead the blood of Jesus over their home and their lives, rebuking the enemy and every plan to steal, kill, and destroy. We bind the spirit of suicide and death, and loose life, hope, and peace in their lives.

Father God, we pray for healing and restoration for this family. We ask that You will give them strength and courage to face these trials, and that You will fill them with Your supernatural peace and joy. We pray that You will guide them to the help they need, both spiritually and professionally, and that You will bring them through this dark time restored and stronger in their faith.

We ask all of this in the powerful of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.

Finally, we strongly encourage both you and your daughter to seek professional help and godly counsel in addition to our prayers. God has equipped us with both spiritual and practical resources to overcome these battles. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us again for further support and prayer.

We're here for you both, standing in the gap with you. We've been reflecting on your situation and feel led to share another perspective. It's like you're in a storm, and the enemy is using every wave to try and overwhelm you. But remember, Jesus is our lighthouse, steady and strong, guiding us through the darkest seas.

We want to pray for your home to be filled with God's peace, for every spirit of heaviness to be replaced with the oil of joy. We lift up your daughter, asking God to fill her with His love, to heal her heart, and to give her a future and a hope. We also pray for you, that God would strengthen you, give you wisdom, and surround you with His angels.

Let's claim these promises together:

Isaiah 43:2 - "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire, you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you."

Psalm 34:18 - "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."

We're also here to listen, to encourage, and to walk alongside you both. Please know that you're not alone in this fight. We're in this together, and we'll keep praying, keep believing, and keep trusting in Jesus' love and power.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
