It is only with Jesus Christ and by His name that we have access to God. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB)
The earliest of all beginnings is recorded in Genesis 1:1- (WEB): "In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was formless and empty. Darkness was on the surface of the deep and God's Spirit was hovering over the surface of the waters." This profound passage reveals that God was there at the beginning, and it is through Him that all things were made.
In the New Testament, the Apostle John also speaks of the beginning. In John 1:1-3 (WEB), we read: "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made through him. Without him, nothing was made that has been made." Here, the Word refers to Jesus Christ, who was present at the beginning with God and is also God.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking to understand the earliest of all beginnings. We know that You were there at the beginning and that through Jesus Christ, all things were made. Help us to grasp the profound truth that You are the Creator and Sustainer of all things. Guide us as we seek to know You more deeply and to understand Your Word more fully through Jesus Christ.
Lord, we ask that You would reveal Yourself to us as we consider the beginning of all things. Help us to see Your handiwork in creation and to worship You as the One who made all things. Give us a deeper understanding of Your Word and a greater appreciation for Your power and majesty.
