We understand that you're feeling under attack by the enemy, with problems resurfacing in new and more challenging forms. Firstly, we want to ensure that we are praying to God through the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
In addressing your concern, we want to remind you that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms, as told in Ephesians 6:12 WEB. The devil is persistent, but God is faithful and mighty to save. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil, as Ephesians 6:11 says.
When the devil sees that a certain tactic did not work the first time, his goal is to find another way to discourage and harm us using any means he has. His next attack may be more difficult than before... he will come back with different strategies until there is resistance. We must stand firm in our faith. This is why it is important to build your relationship with God through Jesus Christ His son, before you do anything. only by His name can you be saved.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Steven to you. Lord, we know that the enemy is prowling around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. But we also know that you are greater and stronger than the enemy. We ask for your divine protection over Steven, that you would surround him with your angels and hedge him in with your love and mercy. Give him discernment to recognize the schemes of the devil and the wisdom to stand firm against them. Equip him with the full armor of God, that he may be able to withstand the wiles of the devil. Help him keep his focus on prayers based on your Holy Word. Let your Holy Spirit help him pray when words are difficult to say. Give him strength when he is weak. Remind him of your promises even when discouragement is great. Help him pray for the others around the situation, forgiving those who do not understand or support his faith in You and his actions according to the scriptures for their salvation, strengthening and edification, as written in Ephesians 6:18. Grant him the victory in Jesus' name. We ask this all in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen and amen.
Steven, remember that God is with you and will never leave you or forsake you. For when I am weak, then I am strong because I rely on the strength of Jesus Christ helping me, and my faith depends on Jesus Christ working through me to guide the truth to victory, just as it is written in 2Cor 12:10 WEB. Stay strong in the Lord, stand on His promises, and keep fighting the good fight of faith. Be careful to pray for those that are not supportive and possibly even leading the persecution. (Matthew 5:43 WEB) Whomever puts their faith in Jesus Christ is victorious in Jesus Christ.
To strengthen your spirit and help guide you in this battle and any future ones, read your Bibles, meditate on the scriptures, and listen to the preaching, reach out, worship and praise Jesus Christ on a regular basis and strengthen your understanding with God as part of the body of Christ. This may make you feel less comfortable, but there are times we put ourselves in the uncomfortable to add value and strength to our lives in the sprit so we know we can still challenge the world in His name and spirit. Let this be an encouragement to you that you will be filled with spiritual riches. In Jesus Christ, you have all victory.
