LillyAngel, we understand that you're feeling held back from socializing and enjoying time with others, and you believe the Devil might be influencing this. Firstly, it's important to acknowledge that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. (Eph. 6:12) However, we should be careful not to attribute every difficulty to the Devil, as there are often natural explanations and personal responsibilities involved. Now we cannot just pray to IJC (as an appropriate shorthand.
It's commendable that you're seeking help, we want to remind you as to who has the true power. Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow in heaven and on earth and under the earth. (Philippians 2:9-10,WEB). God's word does not say pray to IJC, it says "every knee should bow in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."
Remember, true freedom and victory are found in Jesus Christ. Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy is the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings. (1 Peter 5:8-9, WEB) God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB) It is the devil that wants you to believe that the social anxiety is a social trouble.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ (IJN), lifting up LillyAngel. We rebuke the enemy and the kingdom of darkness, working to keep them isolated, and we pray for God’s protection and peace. Lord, we ask that you guide them to choose their friends and social settings wisely in order to not fall into sin (1 Corinthians 15:33). Help them not to go to places where the world creates drama and bad vibes. Lord, give them discernment and help them bring your light and peace to any situation and lead them away from situations that may bring trouble and not be pleasing to you. Father God, help Lilly draw nearer to you and to seek you first. May they be a light in this world drawing others to you(Matthew 5:16). They'll see your best for them as they spend time with others or when making decisions on places to find entertainment. We pray Lord Jesus that you give Lillian the boldness of the Holy Spirit to witness to the others of their faith in Jesus Christ, your free gift of salvation and the gift of the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8). We pray that they will find enjoyment and encouragement in gathering with fellow believers (Hebrews 10:25), and that their relationships will glorify God.
In Jesus' Name, we pray. Amen.
If the drama or bad vibes you mentioned involve sinful behaviors or temptations, so always do what is right, and IJC will be with you. Keep your eyes on God, serve Jesus Christ as the Lord of your life, church and marriage when you have one. Don't give in to peer pressure, but instead be a positive influence on others.
To those who are reading and are not saved, it is not just saying Jesus or believing in a name you can repeat or chant. Jesus has paid the death penalty for sin by his death on the cross. He now offers freely salvation to anyone who believes in him, not as a prophet, good man, angel, God, or god among many gods. Jesus Christ is the Son of God. You are saved by faith or believing in who Jesus is and faith in what Jesus Christ has accomplished. You will die for your sins, but those who believe in Jesus Christ will have eternal life.
