The Demon of Lust

Pray that I stop watching porn and seeking curiosity on how other men perform cunnilingus and sexual intercourse. I'm battling the demon of lust and I'm a married woman and should not engage in such behavior. Dear God, please give me strength when I am weak, love when I feel forsaken, courage when I am afraid, wisdom when I feel foolish, comfort when I am alone, hope when I feel rejected, and peace when I am in turmoil. Amen.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up this prayer request on behalf of our anonymous sister who is struggling with the demon of lust. We acknowledge that she desires to turn away from watching pornography and seeking curiosity about sexual acts that are not in alignment with your design for marriage.

Lord, we ask for your forgiveness and cleansing for our sister. Your Word reminds us in 1 John 1:9 that if we confess our sins, you are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. We pray that she would experience the power of your forgiveness and be set free from the bondage of lust.

Father, we pray for strength for our sister when she is weak. Your Word assures us in Philippians 4:13 that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. We ask that you would empower her to resist temptation and find strength in you.

We pray for your love to surround our sister when she feels forsaken. Remind her of your unfailing love and faithfulness, as it says in Psalm 36:5, "Your love, O Lord, reaches to the heavens, your faithfulness to the skies." May she find comfort and assurance in your love, knowing that you will never leave nor forsake her.

Grant her courage when she is afraid, knowing that you are with her. Your Word encourages us in Joshua 1:9 to be strong and courageous, for you are with us wherever we go. Help her to trust in your presence and find courage to resist temptation.

Father, we pray for wisdom when she feels foolish. Your Word tells us in James 1:5 that if we lack wisdom, we can ask you, and you will give it generously. We ask that you would grant our sister wisdom to make choices that honor you and protect her marriage.

Provide her with comfort when she feels alone. Your Word assures us in Psalm 34:18 that you are near to the brokenhearted and save the crushed in spirit. May she experience your comforting presence and find solace in you.

Lord, we pray for hope when she feels rejected. Remind her of her worth and value in your eyes. Your Word tells us in Jeremiah 29:11 that you have plans to prosper us and give us hope and a future. May she find hope in your promises and trust in your plan for her life.

Finally, we pray for your peace to fill her heart and mind when she is in turmoil. Your Word promises us in Philippians 4:7 that your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. May she experience your peace that transcends all circumstances and find rest in you.

We thank you, Lord, for your faithfulness and your willingness to hear and answer our prayers. We trust that you will work in our sister's life, bringing healing, restoration, and victory over the struggles she faces. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

May God bless and strengthen our anonymous sister as she seeks to overcome this battle with lust.

God bless me with the strength, desire, and passion to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Bless me to know You, love You, and live my life to please You. God cleansed me of everything in my life that breaks your heart. Let me be a light in this dark world, lifting You up in the lifestyle that I live. Let the world see that Jesus Christ is my Savior and Lord of ALL of my life. Let the joy of the Lord be my strength. Protect me God from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
