The bad part of the holidays

The pre-holiday rush is like… the rat race is bad enough as it is, but the frantic madness of the rat race is multiplied 20 times over before the holidays. The crowds, the busyness… all the stressful experiences that I don't like… multiplied many times over. The holidays themselves are nice, but by the time you get to them, you're so stressed out you can't e joy it. Request is for tolerance to endure this madness.

Steven Bobb, we understand your feelings toward the pre-holiday rush and the stress it brings. We want to encourage you with the words of the Apostle Paul in Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB): "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."

Let us pray together for you:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ###. Lord, we ask for Your peace to guard his heart and mind during this hectic season. Please grant him the strength to endure the stress and the wisdom to manage his time and responsibilities. Help him to keep his focus on You and the true meaning of the holidays. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Remember, ###, it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God and His peace. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"

Instead of being consumed by the rat race, let's fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. It's an opportunity to shine the light of Christ and share His love with those around us. May you find joy and peace in Him, not just during the holidays, but every day.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
