We read in Revelation the letters to the churches. And one thing that stands out is,the writer notes that each church has some points where they follow the Lord perfectly ...but also, each one has some area that they are "weak" in--And also, not in the same areas. One may have victory in one area, but a shortcoming in another,or vice versa. Those are churches as a whole, but looking around at individuals, I see similar. One stands out spectacularly in one area{or more} but may have a "weakness" in a certain area, the other Christian, vice versa. So when we look at it.are we much, or any different than the churches mentioned in Revelation?{Like, one thing I've seen , is a "Christian" who maybe gets friendly with some homosexuals, and soon starts saying that, other Christians may have been too "strict" about the "gays", and actually get annoyed with the other Christians and defends the homosexuals over the other Christians!!{I think that's more of a deception}But overall, are we any different then the 7 churches?Just because it was "a long time ago", and the letters were addressed to churches and not individuals, don't they apply to us too? You can read the letters, and say, "it's almost like they're describing me." Then again, maybe that's why the letters were put in there in the first place,to enlighten us.Are the 7 churches just like you and me?

When Jesus' Word says count it all as joy, are you learning to do that or do you still believe that all of us doing our best to follow Jesus are masochists?

Do I believe anyone other than Jesus is perfect? No but we strive to be like Jesus, we do our best to die to ourselves and live risen with Jesus. Do we love our neighbors as ourselves? Who is our neighbor Steven? Isn't our neighbors anyone who we meet? Could our neighbor be addicted to sex with women, sex with men or maybe even addicted to drugs? Are we to help them, lead them to or back to Jesus, are we to feed them, let them steal from us, use us etc? Did you ever wonder why Jesus put a thief in charge of everyone's money with Him? I wondered because someone was stealing from me but I didn't stop loving them and they are actually returning unto Jesus now but it did or was upsetting to me. I doubt that ever upset Jesus because a fish could get money for Him, not to mention Jesus probably could have made up money from nothing.

There are Christians who used to be gay Steven. No one is sticking up for them. We are sticking up for Jesus my friend and Jesus says we are to love them as we love ourselves, right? How do you show love, your love to someone you don't think is right with Jesus?

Not in the order you addressed it, but...no, I meant, not loving sinners, but when a Christian is formerly against a sin , and then by "mingling with " them, they become a little more "approving of" it. From what they themselves say, you can see. And they get more annoyed with the other Christians then the sinners. You can interpret it how you do, but I know the specific examples I'm talking of--in other words , not like Jesus hanging out with sinners to bring them out of it, more like by hanging out with them, and unfortunately, it makes them a little more "accepting" of it.{Can you say that this has never happened?}The subject was the letters to the churches, and pointing out their pros and cons, and the question , doesn't that apply to us, similaries to us? And now...2 answers to your little comment on do I still?Uh...I still have preferences of experiences, prefer it to turn out one way over another...BUT..did you notice that in the last 10 days or 2 weeks or so I haven't trotted out my "names". Not by coincidence, let's say as I give you an "update" that you can say, upon thinking about the whole thing I would say that I was shown certain things by God also checking out some of the things you said.I also kind of made an agreement not to let you goad me into arguments,so to everyone reading this, as an act of good will, I will now let Brother James have the last word.
