THAT THINGS SLOW DOWN LONG ENOUGH FOR ...

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus on behalf of ###, who desires a moment of respite from the busyness of life. Lord, we acknowledge that in the midst of our daily responsibilities, it can be challenging to find time for our own needs and wants. We ask that you would grant ### a season of rest and rejuvenation, where things slow down enough for him to attend to his personal needs and desires.

Your Word reminds us in Luke 5:16 that Jesus Himself often withdrew to lonely places to pray. We pray that ### would find solace in your presence, taking the time to seek you in prayer and meditation. Help him to prioritize his spiritual well-being, knowing that it is through communion with you that he will find true peace and strength.

Father, we also ask for wisdom and discernment for ### in managing his time and responsibilities. Guide him in setting healthy boundaries and making wise decisions, so that he can find a balance between his obligations and his personal needs. Grant him the ability to prioritize and delegate tasks, so that he may experience a retreat from the busyness that surrounds him.

Lord, we know that you are the giver of rest and peace. In Matthew 11:28, Jesus invites us to come to Him when we are weary and burdened, promising to give us rest. We claim this promise for ###, asking that you would grant him the rest he so desperately needs.

May ###'s busyness retreat be a time of refreshment and renewal, where he can find rest in your presence and experience the fullness of life that you have promised. We thank you for your faithfulness and for hearing our prayer.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
