GLORIOUS SABBATH DAY PEOPLE OF GOD:
I get a lot of flack for giving God glory in public. I think people may be confusing it with the scripture regarding public prayer on the street corner. I live, sleep, eat, etc. on the street. Not only does no one complain about that: I'm literally mocked because of it. It's just the public praise that seems to be an issue for many people here. Nevertheless, I will not withhold my praise, like King David, my public praise is the way I give God Thanks. For it is written: "But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven." (Matthew 10:33)
Moreover:
For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words, of him the Son of Man will be ashamed when He comes in His own glory, and in His Father’s, and of the holy angels. (Luke 9:26)
And it came to pass, as he went to Jerusalem, that He passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee. And as He entered into a certain village, there met Him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off: And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us. And when He saw them, He said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed. And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God, And fell down on his face at his feet, giving Him thanks: and he was a Samaritan. And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine? There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger. And He said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole. (Luke 16:11-19)
Whatever my circumstance, when it comes to God's grace and mercy, I purpose to be just like "that one" who returned just to say "Thank You LORD." Because God knows the whole story, like David...
I will become even more undignified than this, and I will be humiliated in my own eyes. (2 Samuel 6:22a)
