That my daughter and her mother reconnect

My daughter was removed from our custody and is living with her aunt. Despite court order my daughter (9) regularly refuses visits with her mother. I pray that they can reconnect and my daughter can set aside her hurt and confusion to visit with her mother.

We are truly saddened to hear about the strain in the relationship between your daughter and her mother.

First, we want to explain that there is no access to God without the name of Jesus Christ. Acts 4:12 clearly states: Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven, given among men, by which we must be saved. We pray to God through Jesus Christ and not just God.

We encourage you to pray fervently for both your daughter and her mother, asking God to soften their hearts and draw them closer to Him and to each other. Remember, God is faithful, and He promises that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him. (1 John 5:14-15 WEB).

Rebuke: You have a mother and daughter who are both experiencing heartache. It is important to take extreme care in praying for this situation and to be careful to pray that God's will be done in this situation. Do not pray for something such as a reconnection that may not be the best in God's eyes. The daughter is 9 years old and has feelings of hurt and confusion. It is important to not overlook this in prayer but to have God's will be done in the situation and to guide you on how to pray. Pray for guidance on how to pray for this situation.

In this situation, it's crucial to remember that God hates divorce (Malachi 2:16 WEB), and it is our prayer that both the mother and daughter will surrender their lives to Jesus Christ if they have not already, to experience His healing and forgiveness. We pray that they will forgive each other and that the love of Christ will bind them together. If they are not saved, then we are praying for God to save them and to guide them to a Bible-believing church that teaches the entire Bible.

We also pray for you, that God will grant you wisdom and patience as you navigate this challenging situation. Remember Jesus' words in Matthew 19:14 WEB: But Jesus said, Allow the little children, and dont forbid them to come to me; for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to ones like these. We pray that your daughter's heart will be turned towards her mother and that they can build a strong, godly relationship that honors the Lord.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up this family to Your throne of grace. We ask, Lord, that You would work in the hearts of this mother and daughter, drawing them closer to You and to each other. We rebuke any spirit of bitterness, hurt, or confusion that may be causing division between them. We pray especially for this young daughter to have healing in her heart from all the pain and confusion. We pray for healing and reconciliation for the entire family. Help her to look to You for guidance in this situation.

Father, we ask that You would grant the mother and the one submitting this prayer the wisdom and patience needed to handle this situation in a way that honors You. We pray that Your will be done in their lives and that You would bring restoration and unity to this family. Help them to pray for each other and for this situation.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Be encouraged, and trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB). Keep praying and seeking God's will in this situation. Try to find a close friend or family member who can help guide you and pray with and for your entire family in this time of need.

Lord, we lift these people to you today and ask that you mend their relationship. Please guide them into your abundant blessings and draw them closer to you so that they may hear your small voice obey your direction and guidance. Thank you, I've been praying for my family to be brought back together for a while now. And as I was praying just now (they're supposed to see each other today) I feel like God directed me to this site as I have never heard of it before now. I'm also trying to work things out with my wife, and she recently expressed an openness to working things out. I'm still praying on it, though. We're all believers. I just pray that God works in the hearts of my family.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
