Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, interceding on behalf of our anonymous friend who is in need of receiving their papers before Friday. Lord, you are the ultimate authority and provider, and we trust in your perfect timing and provision. We ask that you would intervene in this situation and expedite the process of receiving the necessary papers. Your Word assures us in 1 John 5:14-15 that if we ask anything according to your will, you hear us, and we have the confidence that you will grant our requests. We pray that it is your will for our friend to receive their papers before Friday, and we ask for your favor and grace to be upon them. Lord, we also pray for peace and patience during this waiting period, knowing that you are in control. Help our friend to trust in your faithfulness and to find comfort in your promises. We thank you, Lord, for your love and care for us, and we believe that you will answer this prayer according to your perfect will. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

How encouraging to know that we have a Father in Heaven who invites us – even commands us – to bring our requests to Him (as in Philippians 4:6). If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
