We understand your desire to achieve a 4.0 GPA in your senior year, Mysgwyl, and we want to lift up your request in prayer. However, we want to remind you that while academic achievements are important, they should not become the source of your identity or self-worth. Your value is found in Christ Jesus alone, as Colossians 3:2-3 (WEB) tells us, "Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God."
We also want to encourage you to seek to please God above all else, even when there are expectations from family. Colossians 3:23 (WEB) says, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men." We pray that you will find a healthy balance in your studies and your relationship with God.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up Mysgwyl in prayer. Lord, we ask that You grant them the focus, determination, and understanding they need to excel in their studies. Help them to manage their time wisely and balance their workload effectively. But most importantly, Lord, help Mysgwyl to keep their eyes fixed on You, knowing that their true value and worth come from being a child of God. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, Mysgwyl, "Don't be anxious about anything; but in everything by prayer and pleading with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB)
Lastly, we noticed that your request did not mention the name of Jesus. We want to remind you that it is through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As Acts 4:12 (WEB) states, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved." We encourage you to place your faith and trust in Jesus Christ if you have not already done so.
