Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up this prayer request on behalf of our anonymous friend. Lord, you know the desire of their heart to earn a grade of A on their 1st response essay for their graduate school class. We ask that you would grant them wisdom, understanding, and clarity of thought as they work on their essay.
Father, we pray that you would guide their thoughts and words, helping them to articulate their ideas effectively and coherently. May their essay reflect their knowledge, research, and critical thinking skills in a way that impresses their professor and earns them the highest grade possible.
We also ask for your favor to be upon them, Lord. Open the eyes and hearts of their professor to recognize the effort and dedication put into this assignment. May their professor be fair and impartial in grading, and may they see the merit and excellence in our friend's work.
Lord, we are reminded of the words in 1 John 5:14-15, which say, "And this is the boldness which we have toward Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us; and if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him." We believe that it is your will for our friend to succeed academically and to excel in their studies.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
