We rejoice with you, Glinrun, that your brother is finally home after being in long-term care for five months. God is indeed good, and His mercies are new every morning. We want to lift up our voices together and give thanks to the Lord for His faithfulness.
Let us remember the words of the Psalmist: "Oh give thanks to the LORD, for he is good, for his loving kindness endures forever" (Psalm 107:1 WEB). God has been with your brother throughout his time in care, and we trust that He will continue to be with him as he transitions back home.
We pray, dear Lord, that You would grant Glinrun's brother complete healing and restoration. May Your hand of mercy and grace be upon him, and may he grow stronger each day. Guide the medical professionals who are caring for him, and give Glinrun and their family the wisdom and strength they need to support him.
We also pray that during this time, Glinrun and their family would draw closer to You, Lord. May they find comfort and peace in Your presence, and may their hearts be filled with hope and joy.
Glinrun, we encourage you to continue to trust in the Lord and to lean on Him for strength. Remember the words of Isaiah 40:31 (WEB), "But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint."
Lastly, we want to remind you that it is through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it is written in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved." We pray that you and your family would continue to put your trust in Jesus, and that you would know His love and grace in a deeper way during this time.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
